I appreciate Scott bringing up the humor in this week's episode (The Atomic Job). I'm still enjoying Agent Carter very much, but I think the constant and forced humor is actually dragging the show down a bit from the heights it reached in season one. The *unforced* humor that naturally came from Peggy's and Jarvis' relationship was one of my favorite things about Agent Carter; and even this season, I think the funniest moment is when Anna hugged Peggy immediately upon meeting her, and Jarvis said to Peggy, "She hugs," and then immediately said to Anna, "She does not hug." That was hilarious because it wasn't trying too hard. Subtle humor works so much better for these characters than the knee-slapping humor they're going for, and I'm wondering if the three of you agree. Thanks again for the effort and time you put into this podcast. I always look forward to listening the day after a new episode airs. :)
Great thoughts, Count. Thank you so much for commenting and listening to the show. :)
